This course looks at the interaction between poetry and
music, how music can inspire poetry and the use of poetry as lyric.
The musical properties of poetry, rhythm and line choices, and new
ways to use sonic devices in poetry. We will be looking
for many opportunities to develop these ideas into poems. Full feedback and

Poetry and the Natural world -

move from the romantic view of nature to the urban landscape and to the
