Save for the wind breathing rhythm into that dancing branch, it is silent here. Daffodils waft yellow as the sun lays its hand on my skin and strokes. Share this with me. I could cook curry, chatter inconsequentially, laugh uncontrollably. I need to talk with someone of past follies and future foolishness, dissolve that silence into the Pinot Noir as we swap words like gifts. |
