Paul Beech

Paul Beech is a poet and writer.  His debut collection Twin Dakotas: poetry and prose came out from Cestrian Press in 2016.  Latterly he has specialised in traditional Japanese forms (haiku, senryu, tanka, haibun) with work regularly appearing in various journals and anthologies.  A member of the British Haiku Society, he won the Museum of Haiku Literature Award for ‘Best of Issue’ in the Society’s journal Blithe Spirit, November 2018.

floral smock chalky

she holds the new boy close

wipes his terrified tears

and lets him sit

with the girls
