TILT

The silence of the pale blue sky

The emptiness of seas

The vacant river snaking by

Devoid of masts and sails and dreams

When deer and goats invade the streets

Of sunlit suburbs shaddows lost

And grass shines white in scathing light

Invertebrates amass the space,

The gap between that time forgot.
