Writing on and off over a lifetime, I currently fit poems around working, re-training and family life.   I was unofficial Poet in Residence at Worthing Museum in 2017, 

and 'Burial Beads' from the project was shortlisted for a Poetry Kit Prize.

In these unasked-for days

I do not scrub or sort 

but watch the solitary bumble bee

smoothing dusty legs among bright cowslips 

and in the evening

wait at the open kitchen door

for the blackbird’s ecstatic song
