Andrew C Brown Dawlish, Devon, England
Andrew C Brown is a recovering addict and
ex-prisoner. His poems have appeared on three continents including
International Times; Magma; Ink, Sweat , Tears; Lakeview International.
Been included in many anthologies, (latterly within Raven Chronicles
anthology Take a Stand Art against Hate). As an offender he won a Highly
Commended Award in the annual national Koestler competition. As a free
man he gained a community regeneration award for his work with offenders
and their families.
Written 16 April 2020 Historic hindsight will illustrate
tears flow easily upon dry paper bringing tributaries of regret cascading towards rapids of reality. There is no future. Just for today cracked crinkled parchment outlives all missed opportunities. |
