Fiona H
Fiona H lives in Ireland and is rather shy
so would prefer to let the writing do the talking. She is a former
Humanities student, now she studies humanity through creative
writing. She is on the road less travelled from a
Sociology degree to socially introverted, trying to make the world a
better place by writing. Published online in LUNCH poetry journal at
poetrykit.org, (2018, 2019) and in Lunch Ticket literary magazine
(2020).
Trying to get an invitation to what will be My heart in the Now You string me up and pull me down I may act strange, so much to say, change our history, the words will not die Dawn is blooming Shut out on the streets The rainbow over an empty playground Was the brightest I’ve ever seen In the name of daylight Capture it in camera memory Or keep it in my head Morning will come
Poem completed 3rd June 2020
Lives No rules we can break Winners are hard to take All I can do Is carry on my bus ride Go on, the nights are long No home Our lives can break too Ask me, I don’t know Won’t turn my back The answer is not where I need
it We are angry can’t take any
more There is nothing in the way
now Say you’re still alive Save the Hate. FH 3/6/20 |
