waves back as I jog past in gasps with thumbs up
as I pause and mouth are you alright? through
the terraced glass; a life in cardigans and creases as she laughs
yes, are you? Secretly I call her mum, stumble around my
insides for love: life benignly sits in its wisdom knowing it will
run its rivers as I hope she calls me son.
