Stephen Fowle Sandown on the Isle of Wight UK
Stephen has been writing sporadically since
2014 and is previously unpublished. During lockdown he has found the
time and space again to pick up the quill.
Poem Completed: 1st July 2020 The Naughty Step i ought to count my blessings i am able to learn old new words like furloughed i ought to count my blessings i have two good legs to
walk into the empty town for
exercise i ought to count my blessings i am able to see rainbows and hearts in every window instead of riots & raves but i
remain on the naughty step must wash my hands for 20 seconds keep 2m apart at all times make only essential journeys muzzle myself waiting for the bus back home count my blessings i’m still able to breathe The air for free
