www.carmenfiran.com Poem completed 24th March 2020 Meeting the Unknown The Unknown reached us one night The cherry trees had bloomed And the world was readying for Spring Dandelions were flying into unknown Where the wind was blowing from Frozen snowflakes were falling At the end of March At the end of the alphabet as we knew it Or at the beginning of another world As unknown as the uninvited Shown-up out of the blue. The wind shouts into loudspeakers: Stay at home! You too.
