Arcadian
These move: the ocean, the
eye, bodies.
If dying were a circadian
rhythm
we would all be nymphs and
shepherds,
measuring out the precious
nectar
these drowning hours provide,
sinking
in perfection, in flawless
moments
made ultimate, sublime,
metamorphic,
each breath moving us closer
to death.
